Lead Practitioner
Cathryn is the Managing Director of Magnolia FertilityCare and our lead Practitioner.
She has dedicated much of her 30 years in healthcare to women’s and family health, and since qualifying in the USA as a Certified Creighton Model practitioner, she has assisted hundreds of women and couples in achieving their dreams.
She has four children of her own, but experienced both infertility and miscarriage, so holds a special empathy for this arena she is working in. That’s why she has expanded her service, offering a virtual support system to women and couples across Australia.
Dr Brendan Miller
MBBS Bsc FRACGP FRANZCOG
Obstetrician/Gynaecologist
Brendan has an excellent reputation as a fertility-saving surgeon, with NaproTechnology expertise to boot.
Dr Miller currently operates in both St Vincent’s and St Andrew’s Hospitals in Toowoomba. He works as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with special interests in advanced laparoscopic surgery, robotic surgery and urogynaecology.
He works alongside our Magnolia clients when there’s a special need for less invasive surgical techniques that are both more effective for pain and symptom management as well as for fertility.
Dr Alison Bignell

Women’s health and well-being has always been a passion for this dedicated medico since she began as a GP in 1982.
Alison takes each patient case with new fervour and energy to ensure that whatever the problem, the best science on offer is applied to ensure results.
Dr Bignell is a member of a research team at the Mater Mothers Fertility and Research Clinic, which is studying the effect of using bio-identical progesterone to improve outcomes for couples experiencing infertility and recurrent miscarriage.
She is a current member of IIRRM (the International Institute of Restorative Reproductive Medicine).
